Since 2014, Anthill Foundation has implemented a book program benefiting ECD centers and primary schools. This includes a supplemental Mathematics and English books to help strengthen learners’ reading culture and engagement of especially girls in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at an early age to ease taking on science related subjects as learners transit to secondary education level and beyond. Over 25,000 books have been distributed to schools and communities in Busia, Tororo, Alebtong, Mayuge and Wakiso districts.
