Central Girls Vocational School annually hosts the Youth Connect Mentoring Program for adolescent girls and young women to gain work and business experience from fellow youth already in the world of work. This effort continues to create positive results through providing structured support, fostering emotional resilience, and promoting social development. From this initiative we gather some key benefits including;

1. Improved Academic and Behavioral Outcomes as these mentored adolescents and young women improve in school engagement and get to align their life goals with what they are learning. We have to appreciate that the presence of having consistent, supportive youth role model helps our students navigate challenges, make effort to stay in their selected courses until completion.

2. The Youth Connect Mentoring program provides a safe space for adolescents and young women to express themselves. This has lead to increased self-esteem, reduced feelings of isolation, and better coping mechanisms for stress and trauma.

3. We have registered development of social skills through regular interaction with hosted youth mentors and trainers. Students over time get to learn effective communication, conflict resolution, and empathy. These skills have been found essential for building healthy relationships with peers and society at large.

4. The program has further helped our students to envision a positive future after returning back to school. By discussing career paths, educational opportunities, and personal aspirations, youth mentors often encourage them to take proactive steps toward their long-term success in life.

5. The Youth Connect Mentoring Program has highly contributed to post graduation community Integration. The sessions covered over time meaningfully connect adolescent girls and young women to broader community support systems, ensuring they regain a sense of belonging and purpose, which is critical for positive development as they work forward into the world of work.
